Smorgasboarder Free Surf Magazine

Smorgasboarder is a free community surfing publication in Australia. The printed magazine is distributed throughout all the eastern and southern states, including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Smorgasboarder covers non-competitve surfing, local and international surf destinations and focuses heavily on gear and the art of surfboard making. As the name suggests, it's not restricted to any one style of surfing, but is inclusive of many different forms of surfing, from longboarding to performance shortboard riding, retro, kneeboarding, stand up paddle and even street surfing - bringing in the skating side of things.

People featured in Smorgasboarder are not traditional surfing personalities, but rather identities of interest with a strong connection to, or love for surfing. Interviews have included musicians such Mat McHugh of the Beautiful Girls, Ash Grunwald and Isaac Paddon as well as sports stars such boxer Israel Kani, and ex-NRL legend Scott Hill.
