Rincon is possibly the best right-hand point break in California, if not North America. It is primarily a winter break (though legend has it that the odd south swell.....). Due to its well-deserved reputation and proximity to the freeway, the spot is extremely popular. Weekdays have slightly (but only slightly) less crowds than the weekends, which can have well over 150 surfers out at any given time.
